This talk is on as part of Collect: International Art Fair for Modern Craft and Design
Designers John Makepeace and Gareth Neal will come together for a live discussion on the nature of craft and innovation. As advances in technology mean that there are ever more ways for designers to create their work, Makepeace and Neal will explore their own craft and the development of their practices. This cross-generational dialogue mediated by leading gallerist Sarah Myerscough will consider how design can be enhanced by the partnership between the traditional chisel and contemporary robotics.
This talk is free with a Collect 2019 admission ticket. Collect: International Art Fair for Modern Craft and Design is taking place in London from 28 February - 3 March 2019.
Collect Talks are supported by Newby Teas.
