Join ceramic artist Carol McNicoll and art historian, Crafts columnist and long-time friend Tanya Harrod for an intimate conversation about her 50-year career.
McNicoll was one of a gifted group of women who graduated from the Royal College of Art in the early 1970s. The discussion will range widely, taking in everything from the surreal three-spouted teapots made while she was still a student, to her ceramic meditations on national identity and her more recent political pottery – as well as the remarkable environment in which she lives and works.
This talk is part of Collect: International Art Fair for Modern Craft and Design which is on from 27 February - 1 March 2020. See all Collect talks here.
