Bento Bio are on a mission to make genetic technologies more accessible. They are building Bento Lab, a portable laboratory for all curious minds to engage with DNA any place, any time.
In celebration of British Science Week, we're setting up a pop up laboratory in Canterbury's Westgate Hall where the Bento Bio team will help you to extract your own DNA using household ingredients.
Dot One are a personalisation company that uses genetic data to create unique fashion and design products. They'll help you create a unique design based on 10 of your genetic traits, from eye colour to how well you sleep. Colour your design by hand, and then print onto a t-shirt to take home!
