EARTH WHEEL AND FIRE 2019
FREE POTTERY WHEEL THROWING SESSIONS.
Our expert will take you through the basics of making on the potters wheel. There will be half hour sessions for children (with their parent/guardian) in the morning and one hour sessions for adults at their own wheel in the afternoon.
All pots made can be taken home free with instructions on how to dry paint and store your piece. Alternatively you can have any or all of the pots you make expertly finished, dried, fired, glazed and fired again by the potter for a charge toward costs of £4 per pot ready for collection at a later date.
You will be taken through the process by Lorraine Bates, a production thrower of 30 years and designer maker to Museum and art galleries such as The Victoria and Albert Museum, Keswick Museum and Art Gallery and Kelmscott Manor the country home of William Morris.
