Make:Shift:Do 2015

Make:Shift:Do at DoES Liverpool

Make:Shift:Do is a festival celebrating digital innovation in craft

Join us on October 23 & 24 as maker spaces across the UK throw open their doors for anyone to try their hand at new forms of making. It’s a chance to play, tinker, handle curious new materials and discover some of the places leading the field in digital making.

Make:Shift Do is an opportunity for everyone in the UK to meet the next generation of makers and to try their hand at a new craft, from 3D printing to laser-cutting or CNC milling.

From open-source making and the rise of 3D printers, the UK is witnessing a boom in new making, fuelled by accessible new design technology and the spread of social media.

Organised by the Crafts Council in partnership with the V&A, Institute of Making at UCL and Ultimaker this programme will see workshops, events and activities across the UK.
