Make:Shift:Do at DoES Liverpool (Workshop)

Sublime Heartbeats

DoES Liverpool is a community of people with a diverse range of skills and interests. By joining the DoES community you will get to mingle with entrepreneurs and company founders, artists and makers, developers and hardware engineers, academics and students (and many people that are less easy to label).
We are a co-working space located in the heart of Liverpool. Desks are available to rent by the month or by the day.  The DoES workshop is well equipped with a range of electronics equipment, 3d printers, vacuum former, CNC mill and laser cutters. We'd love to show us our workshop and some of the things that are made here. Hopefully you'll be inspired to make stuff yourself.

Put together a simple electronic heart beat monitor, record your heart beat, and explore ways of producing an interesting image from the resulting data using a prewritten interface. Use a sublimation printer and heat press to print out the image onto a mug and tote bag, which you can take away with you.

Make:Shift:Do is a nationwide programme of craft and innovation workshops taking place on 27 and 28 October 2017
