Make:Shift:Do at DoES Liverpool (Open Day)

DoES Liverpool Open Day

DoES Liverpool is a community of people with a diverse range of skills and interests. By joining the DoES community you will get to mingle with entrepreneurs and company founders, artists and makers, developers and hardware engineers, academics and students (and many people that are less easy to label).
We are a co-working space located in the heart of Liverpool. Desks are available to rent by the month or by the day.  The DoES workshop is well equipped with a range of electronics equipment, 3d printers, vacuum former, CNC mill and laser cutters. We'd love to show us our workshop and some of the things that are made here. Hopefully you'll be inspired to make stuff yourself.

On our open day we will be displaying some of the things that are made at DoES, using workshop equipment including an electronics station, laser cutters, 3D printers etc. The DoES community includes IT specialists, artists and enthusiasts, so there will be a wide range of stuff to look at including Internet of Things connected objects, laser-engraved art works, pinhole cameras and jewellery featuring LEDs.

People will be stationed by the laser cutters and 3D printers to demonstrate their capabilities to members of the public.

Make:Shift:Do is a nationwide programme of craft and innovation workshops taking place on 27 and 28 October 2017
