Mud Hack

Contemporary Craft is alive with innovation but with new materials and digital processes bursting onto the market daily, what will happen to hand-making processes and their potential for promoting wellbeing?

Mud Hack aims to pose this question to visitors as they innovate with clay. Workshop facilitators will take a back seat as they invite you to come along and experiment with new ceramic processes— explore  tool making, extruder die cutting, mould-making, wheel throwing and turning, slab building, all limited only by your own imagination. The work and processes developed will lead to community workshops and products to fit out PLANT. Your mud hack experiments will mark the beginning of a new outlook on clay as a tool of expression and wellbeing for people of all abilities and ages.
