The first UK festival dedicated to craft and moving image
The third edition of Real to Reel: The Craft Film Festival returns to Picturehouse Central during London Craft Week, and this year is in partnership with Killik & Co., an independently owned investment house.
Produced by the Crafts Council and Crafts magazine, and in partnership Killik & Co, the festival presents another eclectic programme of shorts exploring our relationship with materials and making. Discover documentaries, maker profiles, music videos and hand-crafted animations from around the globe that celebrate craft in all its facets across two screenings on 8th and 9th May.
A special event on 10th May delves into the world of puppet making and stop motion animation with a screening and talk from Mackinnon & Saunders.
What to expect from Screening 2
See the drama of knife making, marble powered machines, furniture made from coffee cups and bubble gum, a life sized ceramic replica of a Rover 75, hand-made animation and more in this diverse range of shorts about making.
