Gallery applications now live. Deadline 6 July 2020 / Earlybird 22 June 2020

We hope you are keeping well in these difficult times.

Like so many other organisations, the Crafts Council is reviewing its programming in light of COVID 19.  For Collect 2021, we firmly believe that, for now, it is right to support the sector and continue planning for this important international event and the crucial commercial role it plays for so many galleries and artists and in bringing the sector together.

We are delighted, therefore, to announce that gallery applications for Collect 2021 are NOW OPEN.  We very much encourage you to apply for this wonderful fair. Apart from a small application fee, there is no financial commitment until the autumn for selected galleries. We will continue to monitor the situation over the summer months and will keep you all updated.

Please click this link for the Collect 2020 Overview and get a real understanding of the benefits of exhibiting at the fair, see who attends, who supports and who takes part.

An international event that allows visitors to peruse and purchase an astonishing variety of one-off pieces.

Financial Times, how to spend it

For over 17 years Collect has been instrumental in defining and growing the marketplace for international collectable craft.

Founded in 2004 by the Crafts Council, the leading authority on craft in the UK, Collect is passionate about supporting specialist galleries -worldwide- who bring to the fair a careful selection of their artists working with a broad range of materials.

To maximise on commercial success for exhibitors, Collect is strategically positioned at the start of the international cultural calendar.  Collect’s focus is on the truly contemporary and as such encourages galleries to commission new bodies of work especially for the fair. Collect requires galleries to show at least 80% of works made in the last five years by living artists and designers. Galleries are asked to propose a curatorial rationale for their stand and an indication of the works that will be shown.

Every year it attracts a high-net-worth purchasing audience of art consultants, interiors specialists, collectors, museum curators, design practitioners and a culturally educated wider public.

We’ve met some amazing international private and luxury interior designers that will expand objects to large scale project opportunities.
