Love craft? Join a funded London based training programme at the Goldsmiths' Centre in London for school leavers aged 16 to 19 - the next generation of career jewellers and silversmiths. The Goldsmiths' Centre's full-time Foundation Programme is a gateway for school and college leavers into the prestigious Goldsmiths’ Company Apprenticeship Scheme, job or further or higher education course. It provides you and other young people with the core skills to begin working in jewellery, silversmithing and the allied crafts. As part of a small group of ten, you will spend a full year being taught by leading craftspeople in modern and fully-equipped workshops at the Goldsmiths’ Centre in London. The course covers traditional techniques, such as fine jewellery making, silversmithing and stone setting; alongside contemporary processes such as Computer Aided Design (CAD).
