Crafts Council

Galerie Rosemarie Jäger

Since 1989, the gallery has shown contemporary applied art involving both classical elements and exciting new concepts.

In the process, it has maintained a commitment to quality and authenticity. Four to six exhibitions a year explore connections between different disciplines or are devoted to the comprehensive presentation of individual artists, including established masters and young talents.

“When Rudolf Bott thinks about things, he does so not as a theorist but as a craftsman. For him, thinking and doing are intimately related, and ultimately a single process. Bott formulates his answer with his head, but also with the hand guiding a tool and the eye controlling its use. This answer stands before the viewer as a sensually palpable figure.” — Peter Schmitt
