View exciting new works from MA and PhD alumni of the Crafts and Design School, UCA, Farnham during the 2021 London Design Festival.
Continuum is a multidisciplinary group of contemporary makers of ceramics, glass, jewellery, textiles, sculpture and metalwork. This ongoing collaboration of MA and PhD alumni from the UCA network Farnham challenges its members to develop their work to the highest professional level, exploring and pushing the boundaries of their practice and presenting it for public scrutiny, exhibition and sale. Many have won industry awards and exhibited at national and international craft and design events and galleries.
Members operate independently, producing work to a high standard of design and expertise in their chosen discipline and come together to be part of a shared resource providing mutual support in the development of their individual practice and a platform for exhibiting their work. Collectively they are a shared resource for staging regular exhibitions and presenting their work for public scrutiny and sale.
Continuum@ OXO2021 features several new practitioners including artists-in-residence, curators and expert teachers and speakers who are exhibiting with the group for the first time. Existing members will present their most recent work and visitors are encouraged to talk to makers about their practice.
