About

My making is an impressionistic response to place and experience, specialising in hand building techniques with a focus on the vessel form, texture and surface decoration.
Finely rolled slabs are manipulated and form a canvas on which layers of glaze, stain and oxide are applied with a brush. Sparing use of mono-printing and mark making is also made.
I am an alumni of the selected Crafts Council’s Hothouse programme (2014), funded by the Arts Council.
