About

My practice encompasses a range of materials and scales mainly metal, although paper and book making have formed an important part of my portfolio. I utilize a range of techniques and processes, including jewellery, silversmithing, blacksmithing and bookmaking skills to create small hand held objects through to large-scale architectural pieces. My career has two mutually beneficial aspects to it – the fabrication of sculptural pieces and the facilitation of others artistic work.

The installation was inspired by the technical drawings from the Morgan-Giles boat yard, held in the archives. The wire interpretations celebrate the beauty of the linear marks on the page. Areas have been in-filled with enamelled elements.
