About

Travel and response to particular places are departure points for my ideas.
The relationship between loom and textile, hard and soft, tension and flexibility inspires me. Incorporating light, space and depth of field is paramount within my textiles.
Making informs my drawing and drawing informs my making as work evolves.
Drawing directly with material integrates idea and textile structure.
The resulting works document information specific to a time or place.
