Personalised Bespoke Quilt Commissions

Personalised bespoke quilt commissions are always welcome. If you wish to make a quilt from cherished old clothes, or from your own special stash of fabric Lisa will work with you to design a quilt to the size & style that fits you & your home. Lisa can also stitch a quilt (floor cushion, tent, laptop cover, you decide) as a special gift to celebrate a significant event, or can make a unique quilt just for you or for a loved one. Just get in touch with Lisa to discuss your quilt ideas further.

Harris Tweed Patchwork Quilt Commission, Lisa W

This bespoke Harris Tweed quilt has been commissioned by Asheleigh for her husband’s birthday to fit in with the interior of their traditional flint cottage by the Norfolk coast.

50th Birthday Celebratory Patchwork Quilt, Lisa W

Kate wished a bespoke quilt stitching to celebrate a BIG birthday and make use of the joyous colour pop of printed cottons she had accumulated linked to special family memories. The result is a zinging joyous patchwork quilt that as Kate commented on Instagram; So glad it’s been cheering up your lockdown Lisa, it looks fantastic! V inspiring to know that beauty can come out of adverse times x

Rachel & Joe's monochrome summer quilt, Lisa W

Joe&Rachel wished a cool grey lightweight summer patchwork quilt to keep any nighttime chills at bay, so I used a mixture of cottons, including some Japanese fabrics which reminded me of my recent adventures. Happy Days.

Rory's quilt, Lisa W

Rory’s mum wished a patchwork quilt to celebrate her son’s 16th birthday; Thank you so much for designing and creating Rory’s quilt. You incorporated sixteen years worth of cherished pieces of clothing into something very special. Thanks for taking into account the (many) notes I sent with the clothes and using very specific parts of certain items. Love the way you used shirt pockets for items like socks and his little cashmere hat. Rory is very happy with the quilt and now my Mother wants one for her 80th birthday! Best Dorien

Quilted bedspread which has a silk fabric piece by French textile artist @aurore.pelisson as its centerpiece, Gavin G

This quilted bedspread has a silk fabric piece by French textile artist @aurore.pelisson as its centerpiece, edged with grey linen with a piped edge & backing fabric in brushed cotton shirting and is quilted with upside down mother of pearl buttons. My aim was to use fabrics to compliment and maintain integrity of silk textile and importantly to work with Gavin and his partner to stitch them the quilted bedspread they wished.
