Linda Baxter (aka The Black Fish Press) lino block prints her designs onto cloth creating fabric which is made up into useful items for the home and other interiors. She uses vegetable oil based inks from Hawthorns in York and prints onto linen union and thick cottons. Each item is printed separately, creating colours and textures unique to each piece. Recently, she has begun to experiment with wholecloth quilt making, combining print with hand stitching.
