Sustainable Fashion through Hessian Recycling
I was walking past a construction site across from my house and l saw this big piece of material on the site. As a believer in zero waste, l asked the builders what it was for and if l could take it to reuse so it would not end in the landfill. They said they use it to protect the bricks from the frost and that l could use it if l really had to. l took it home, divided it into small pieces to fit the laundry machines, washed them and created these amazing garments.
