Corporate partnerships

The Crafts Council has a long track record of working in partnership with multiple brands and organisations across a diverse range of industries. Many of these partnerships have evolved into multi-year affiliations.

We have partnered with luxury retailers, interior designers, hotel groups, fast-moving consumer goods brands, financial services organisations, property developers, major media organisations, technology companies, cultural institutions and government departments.

The Crafts Council appeal to brands and organisations is multi-faceted and includes:

    • Access to clearly defined nationwide audiences including: makers, craft hobbyists and enthusiasts of all ages and demographics, craft collectors and HNWI (high net-worth individuals), craft educators, cultural influencers and thought-leaders
    • Access to deeply established and influential content platforms, including Crafts magazine and the Collect fair guide
    • World-renowned programming and the Crafts Council's national collection
    • Rich heritage of world-leading alumni
    • Central London location, the soon to be re-opened Crafts Council Gallery
    • Dedicated account management for major partners; ROI (return on investment) end-of-campaign assessment and reporting

Our model of partnership is three-fold and includes:

    • Bespoke partnerships
    • Sponsorship partnerships
    • Campaign donations

    Bespoke partnerships

Together we build individually tailored campaigns, crafted to meet an organisation’s business objectives around brand awareness and engagement amongst our audiences, and through talent association.

It is with great pleasure that we embark on a second year's partnership with the Crafts Council in 2021. Textile Artist Anna Ray is this year’s winner of the Brookfield Properties Crafts Council Collection Award. We are excited to exhibit the acquired artworks Weave and Capture alongside a curated selection of Anna’s works at 99 Bishopsgate and Aldgate Tower from August this year. Anna’s work is sure to inspire and spark curiosity from audiences hungry to once again see art across the City.

    Sponsorship partnerships

These partnerships are created to enable organisations to become deeply associated with Crafts Council platforms such as Crafts Council exhibitions and sector leading research, Collect, the National Collection of Contemporary Craft and Crafts Council education and talent programmes.

We are very happy to have found in the Crafts Council a strong partner with whom to celebrate the long-standing values of craftsmanship in their contemporary form

    Sheila Loewe President, LOEWE FOUNDATION

Collect is the Crafts Council's flagship international art fair for craft and design. It attracts sponsorship partners wishing to be aligned with craft talent and excellence, and reach audiences spanning high net worth individuals to craft enthusiasts and makers.

The overall experience was excellent – really, really excellent. It was particularly beneficial to us for solidifying how we position ourselves, both internally and externally.

    Max Rollitt, VIP Lounge Sponsor

    Campaign donations

Your organisation has the opportunity to partner with us and contribute to major campaigns run by the Crafts Council - such as the current Let's Craft packs campaign - providing direct CSR (corporate social responsibility) support for nationwide issues.

We are so happy to support the Let's Craft appeal. It is a brilliant initiative that delivers art materials straight into the hands of those who lack any resources to make and create at home this summer. As makers we understand that to make something by hand, from nothing, is a basic human need.

Chris Cox, co-founder and creative director, Cox London
