Acme Atelier is the studio of bespoke kiltmaker Andrea Chappell, who combines the crafts of kiltmaking and printmaking with those of contemporary design, exploring pleating construction alongside original textile creation. Andreas bespoke kilts are hand-stitched using traditional tailoring techniques, often combined with original artworks printed onto, or inside her kilts. Her sustainable ethos is fundamental to her practise, using deadstock textiles and vintage fabrics to create unique kilts.
