Chain and Multifunctional Objects
Since completing her MA in Creative Practise in 2021 Amy has been developing a new body of work exploring the historical techniques of chain making and Kurinuki ceramic carving.
Amy has been mainly exploring the traditional loop in loop chain, creating bold and distinctive necklaces as well as looking into the relationship of object and jewellery. Amy has combined wearable jewellery pieces with sculptural ceramics to create artworks both for the body and for the home.
