Sgraffito Range

There is often a narrative to these sgraffito pieces and as each piece is handmade they all have their own character. They are made from red earthenware clay on the wheel or hand built from slabs, and then painted with a layer of white liquid clay slip. Images are scratched through the white layer revealing the red clay beneath. Work in this range has been commissioned by the Jerwood Gallery Hastings, and Dulwich Picture Gallery for their shops.
