Carol trained at Goldsmiths School of Art where she specialised in embroidery. She is a Fellow of the Society of Designer Craftsmen, and has curated exhibitions at the Mall Galleries in London. She makes machine embroidered textiles for exhibitions, galleries and to commission. By stitching intensively with a wide range of threads she creates richly textured and undulating images. Her abiding passion is landscape. She says "I look, I draw, I select and I translate."
