At first I used materials traditionally associated with local ropes, heather, rush etc. and then I explored other plants such as dandelion, fine grasses and seaweed. The ropes were shown in various venues with the wall installations changing. Each rope had a label with the English, Gaelic and Latin names of the plant used.
