Silver reclamation & resin-coated paper recycling
Ongoing experimentation instigated as a result of being invited onto The Sustainable Darkroom Residency run by London Alternative Photography Collective in April 2020 to explore ideas and actions for recycling and reducing darkroom waste. I developed ways to reuse unrecyclable resin-coated paper including creating 'gemstones' and small sculptural electroformed objects I then silver-plated from the fixer the photographs originally emerged from. Reuniting the silver and paper. A cyclical process.
