Emily Lawlor is an artist, with a First Class Honours degree from Chelsea College of Art, specialising in ceramics and mosaics. For over two decades, she has worked on public art commissions in London and the South West. In her studio practice, working with vintage china, Emily combines textures, patterns and words to create each artwork. In her work, she is inspired by birds – fascinated by wings, feathers and flight. Her birds include makers’ marks inset against the colours and patterns.
