Crafts CouncilDirectoryClaire IrelandBrentford Spoon ProjectAboutI created a ceramic project during the pandemic to engage and help support my neighbours, friends and their families in Brentford. The idea evolved to include 120 participants who worked with a variety of different materials, creating a collection of diverse and eclectic handmade spoons. It culminated in a community exhibition at the newly renovated Jacobean manor house in Boston Manor Park, West London. This was supported by a series of artist talks and creative workshops.
