Handwoven wall art ~ abstract
Fiona’s new work is a joyful exploration of colour. It has been an inspired journey; imagined travel from the studio. The artwork, the artist’s own photographs, is translated into digital files and carefully hand-woven in a mixture of sustainably sourced yarns, chosen for their colour and inherent fibre properties. Multiple strands are wound and woven together to create a yarn palette of blended colour. Fiona continues to develop work along this theme and is happy to discuss commission ideas.
