Walcott Chapel Artspace, Bath

The Moss: Exploration of ‘place’ (the Moss- a former peat works) the project aimed to uncover the insideness of a place. I created an assemblage - a herringbone peat stack - 40 press-moulded ceramic, raku-fired and peat smoked 'cut peat slices', a visual poem exploring the complexity, lines and right angles of the cut peat bog, and the repeating patterns and modular designs of the traditional peat stacks using Gaelic peat glossaries. And a traditional tairsgeir peat spade
