My work is mainly thrown, working in series and making one-off pieces. As well as natural and urban landscapes, I find inspiration in the seemingly random and mundane - rusty tools, peeling layers of paint, found objects which tell a fragment of a story - these inform my colour palette. The vessels are layered with oxides and glazes and often multi-fired. They are used as a canvas to explore the myriad combinations of texture and colour. I am a professional member of the CPA.
