Nature and Sustainable Paper Yarn
A pretty installation - highlighting the ugly story of found ocean waste.
I found a piece of ocean polypropylene rope on my local beach. As I removed it from the beach, I decided to incorporate it into an attractive installation. By creating a woven piece using a natural Japanese paper yarn I incorporated the unraveled strands of ocean rope to create a narrative and story of the 'ugly' impact of the pollution found in our seas.
