Julia Clarke works with willow, cane, thread and ceramics. She states that her work comes from a place of having to make, ‘’like breathing I’ve always needed to make…be tactile, touch, and create in 3D". She has always been fascinated by scale, natural forms, voids, vessels, the spaces between things. Making connects her to others, helps her interact and feel purposeful. She wants to make sculpture and craft accessible to all, and believes it can really help people connect and be inspired.
