I create intricate, life-sized sculptures of plants and insects, curating collections of them and building installations and dioramas which aim to document different species and encourage a curiosity in nature. I tend to view my work as a 3D record of my discoveries and experiences of the natural world. My sculptures are made using reclaimed paper, wire and other recycled materials which are carved, shaped and sometimes embroidered to bring the sculptures to life.

Botanical University Challenge 2020

19 February 2020

I was commissioned to create two wild flower trophies for the winner and runner up of the Botanical University Challenge 2020. Well done to Reading University who won the challenge, you can see the finished trophies in my portfolio projects.

'Reclaim/Reimagine/Repurpose'

12 January 2020

Some of my work has been included in Unit Twelve Gallery's current exhibition 'Reclaim/Reimagine/Repurpose'. The group exhibition is celebrating artwork created by re-using old and recycled materials and is on until the 2nd of May 2020.
