Textures of Patagonia
In Patagonia everything is a texture. The delicate textures in the surface of a rock, the grasses of the plains, the glaciers, the tumultuous rivers, the forests, the animals and the plants. The textures seem to form the very structure and strength of the place.
My designs are an interpretation of all I have seen, felt and experienced, developed using a combination of shibori, dye and print processes to create layers of texture and surface with flashes of colour to reflect the contrasts.
