Fluted Waterfall bowls-Icelandic collection
An exploration of the Skogafoss and Gullfoss Waterfalls in Southern Iceland. As an extension of my Icelandic collection, this is an expression of the sheer force of the water against the volcanic and moss green landscapes I experienced on my research trip to Iceland.

Thrown in onyx black porcelain and copper and tin glazes.
Thrown in onyx black porcelain and glazed inside and on the rim with copper green or cobalt blue and dipped on the rim with tin glaze.
Inspired by the basalt beaches of Vik, Iceland and glazed with a combination of copper and tin.
Inspired by the black basalt beaches of Vik in Iceland, this piece is glaze with a combination of cobalt blue and with tin dipped on the rim.
Thrown in onyx black porcelain, textured with a Japanese comb tool and poured with a combination of cobalt and tin glazes inside and dipped on the rim.
