I'm a maker and drag king with a social practice. I work in paper cutting, performance and research. All my work is driven by an insatiable curiosity about the social functions of making. Current projects include Art Confined (social art with social distance) and "Mess Making as Social Glue" - research into making as a form of "commoining".

Focus:
Socially engaged making research

Social Practice Surgery workshop

05 November 2018

Workshop collaboratively creating a "social practice 1st aid kit" - an imagined resource to support artists to deal with the, often ignored, fallout from working in this intense and involved way.

WORTH Project Exhibition

02 November 2018

First exhibition of the complete first set of portraits from the WORTH Project

Work featured in Thought Foundation CRAFT exhibition

06 February 2020

Lady Kitt will be showing works from their 'WORTH' series as part of the Thought Foundation CRAFT exhibition. Running until 29 April and held at the Thought Foundation, Clarity House, Durham Road, Birtley, DH3 2TB
