Devon born Jackie won her first commission 1984 and since then has sold more than 900 works.  Specialising in hand painted, machine embroidered denim or canvas and hand sewn chintz patchwork.  She aims to balance content, texture and colour by adding random finds or aged haberdashery giving her textile art a twist.  Jackie gains creative energy and inspiration by swimming in the sea or River Dart each day of the year, whatever the weather!    She welcomes studio visits by appointment.
