Jo Davies Ceramics

London, Greater London

fluid, simplicity, monochrome

£85 — £3500

I use a throwing-wheel to make my work from porcelain, often throwing component parts that are constructed while the clay is still wet. This way of working is unusual, my aim being to create objects that are deceptively simple and non-traditional. I have a design range as well as signature pieces, glazing objects I make with one of three glazes developed to enhance the sense of fluidity in my work. Everything I make is monochrome with evolving shapes and forms.
