It has been slowly hand carved over a period of months, from a toadstool encrusted log I found foraging. The fungus is part of the natural process of decay, but if caught at the right time gives amazing patternation to the wood. The patternation is called spalting. due to the fact that the wood was waterlogged when found, it had to be worked little by little to avoid splitting as the wood dried. Dimensions 25.5" x 24" x 12".
