Using Award Winner Saunders Seasoning Timber, Memories of Green works with reused & reclaimed wood, selecting this wood for its particular imperfect & discarded patterns. The dense matter of Walnut & Birchwood is then subjected to a collision with chisels to create a violent centrifugal force frozen in time, the curves are then polished into seamless mathematical curves representing the structure of a black hole, progressing naturally into a chalice that worships the living entity of earth.
