Commissions
An art commission for The British Academy's art collection in St James's, London.
The late Sir Nicolas Goodison recommended Michelle to the art committee of The British Academy, and that they commission her to create these two large, abstract wall-hangings for their building in St James's, London.
The hand-printed hangings combine linen, flax, cotton, and pigments. Each measures 73 x 288cm and they hang at the top of the double staircase, alongside other artworks from the art collection.
