Planet necklace close up., MJHS

Copper strip with inks & Sterling Eco-silver balls on Sterling Eco-Silver hand cut disk. Patina.

Eco-Silver texturing process., MJHS contemporary

When I collect Ocean plastics on beach cleans her in Cornwall sometimes the Ocean gifts me a beautiful stone to work with. Here is a Cornish Quartz & Cornish Bluestone mix that I use to texture some of my works.

Pendant to navigate the Universes, MJHS contemporary

Copper is cut by hand & by eye. Locally collected Cornish beach Quartz & Cornish bluestone is used to texture the metal. This & the heating process build up texture & patina. One of my Future Gemstones is set with Blue Goldstones to represent the night skies & traveling through deep space, Rose cut Labradorite & Pyrites represent the geodesic domes used for habitation on other celestial bodies & a Lolite gemstone the Viking compass stone for navigation.

Planet necklace., MJHS

Sterling Eco-Silver necklace with inks, copper and patina. Hallmarked in London. On a contemporary ball chain.

Pendant to navigate the Universes - view from the back of the piece., MJHS contemporary

A navigation piece. Perhaps a secret map to another solar system? Maybe a message is hidden in the colors of the gemstones, healing properties. Great care is taken with the back of many of my works. A secret side for the owner's eyes only.
