ArtKnit cushions

Penny Burdett Designer Knitwear

London, England

Four Classical 'ArtKnit' cushions in mixed fibres and chenille, silk backed, Penny Burdett

Cushions from my iconic Classical Art Knit range. Each one unique, inspired by images from ancient times and old script. Getting a face to work properly in a knitted fabric is an art in itself, and usually takes several attempts before it is right. I love mixing in typography too.

'Classical' ArtKnit cushions, knitted in cotton and chenile yarn. Silk backed., Penny Burdett

Two Classical Cushions from my iconic 'Art Knit' range in situ. Each one unique featuring Classical images and old calligraphy.

Sid Vicious/Debbie Harry ArtKnit cushion , Penny Burdett

I might add that getting a face to work properly in a knitted fabric is an art in itself, and usually takes several attempts before it is right. I love mixing typography in too.
