I started out building wooden boats in Norway and still use some of those techniques. My designs have a Scandinavian simplicity. I work in unique beautiful pieces of oak, ash, elm and other N. European hardwoods, often using wood sourced from the local area of the commission. My fascination is steam bending thick solid boards into arches, twists, curves and rings which make components in my designs. Finished with natural oils and tactile textures, my furniture is made to be used and enjoyed.

The Wave Pavilion is now available for purchase and installation into its new home. Currently on show at Sladers Yard in Dorset, it offers a myriad of exciting possibilities as a sculptural focus, shady pavilion or performance space to frame a view.
