Britannia Silver Iris Wall Sconce

Highly polished Britannia Silver Wall Sconce. This piece was inspired by closely examining organic matter under microscope - the textures and lines were applied to the silver using the traditional technique of chasing. The highly polished, convex ovaloid centre disperses the candle light neatly around the room & the contrast in matte, textured and polished surfacing creates an interesting effect.
