Museum Vessels

This series of work started on my first short project at the RCA, when we had to select an object from the Victoria and Albert Museum to work with and reinterpret. I chose a Wedgwood Black Basalt Vase. The process really grabbed me, and now, after much trial and error, I have now been able to fully realise that idea! Handmade in coloured porcelain, these cups are individually cast and adorned with a white porcelain relief inspired by my love of museums and ornithology.
