Transparency & Opacity 1
I have been researching haptic perception - our instinct to touch and the importance of touch to our well being and human experience. Taking an experimental approach to felt making, I have explored material combinations and processes, to engage the senses & celebrate texture. Investigating the relationship between actual and perceived textures, I have examined tactility, translucency and opacity to create functional objects that invite touch and challenge the perception of felt.
