I write with clay, intrigued by the shapes and shadows cast by 3 dimensional script. Shadows move with the light, echoing our hazy, shifting memories of experiences. Works employ my own words or extracts of classical & contemporary poetry, exploring our relationships with landscape, and the memories stored within. Pieces are often wall mounted, or, more recently, the words have come off the page to form 3d 'poem vessels' and 'coracles' - the stories hold and support us as we travel.

October 2020

Open Studios with Moya Tosh and Sally Courage at Ceramic Art Whitway - we hope to be able to open the studio to guests in the autumn. -

May 2021

So many events have been moved out of 2020 and into next year - I’ll be posting news as dates become available
