Weaving the autumn

Knotted cowls and tasselled scarves: I generally favour a plain weave without patterning to best show off a handspun, plant dyed or tweed-flecked yarn, while the simplest diagonal twill adds cushioning, drape and a softer surface to a weaving worn close to the face.
